I know this sounds like a YouTube sponsored video but just seriously, my wife got me a subscription to @factor75.bsky.social meals for Christmas. Eating these has REALLY helped keep my glucose low and stable, which is helpful when it’s too cold to stand outside and grill.

Ever notice there’s never any mention or evidence of the mogwai / gremlins leaving droppings or other waste? You’d think it would be a way to track them since their animal brains wouldn’t likely suppress it.

I know everyone has the cliche “Is Die Hard a Christmas movie?” debate (it is.) but to me, Star Wars IV-VI will also always be Christmas movies to me, thanks to their continuous play on USA back in the 90s. It’s not Xmas until you’re sacked out on the couch with a cold watching Empire on NyQuil.

@gamepass.xbox.com what is the deal with not having family plans? I have 2 kids + myself in the household that play. I have a Series X in my office and one in the family room. Kids both have Series Ss in their rooms. At the new rates you want $90/mo for all 3 of us to have subs. Fix it. Seriously.

It’s late. I’m exhausted. Kids are finally on their way to bed. Dinner is a Super Philly. 6oz of steak, 3 slices of cheese (I don’t have whiz, sorry Philadelphians), peppers, onions, and diced jalapeños with shredded lettuce. I earned this today. ~50 grams of carbs.

It’s late. I’m exhausted. Kids are finally on their way to bed. Dinner is a Super Philly. 6oz of steak, 3 slices of cheese (I don’t have whiz, sorry Philadelphians), peppers, onions, and diced jalapeños with shredded lettuce. I earned this today. ~50 grams of carbs.
Loaded the kids into the car and drove into the war zone that is Portland for the Portland Retro Gaming Expo. Didn’t find @johnriggs.bsky.social but I did run into @metaljesusrocks.bsky.social and that was rad. Stimulated the economy a little and the kids had a blast. See ya next year.

My kids are watching Scream for the first time (they are 10 and 13). My 13 year old said, “How does GhostFace know everyone’s phone numbers?” And I had to stop the movie and say, “When this movie came out they literally had a huge book in every town with everyone’s phone numbers in it”.
