"attentional pollution" - that is such an apt expression.

It's inescapable. You really gotta pick your battles. You do a lot already with your writing (and ... you know, being a doctor and all). Try not to fret too much.

Damnit! Now I want to rewatch it (again)!

I've long argued that the world would be a much better place if horns were at least as loud inside the car as outside the car.

They call them "Promises". Dumb name, good candy.

Dove has done a good job of this too. No little feather, but it's much better chocolate and there's a little note of encouragement printed on the inside of the foil wrapper.

"Snark-Up Video"! That would be so much fun.

Same. I think I have some kind of reverse SAD thing. Summer is the worst for me. Granted, "winter" is not exactly winter where I live. But still...

I opened imdb to acquaint myself of the plot and... well, the keywords do kinda warn you about this.

I do this too, and not just with chairs. I think it's because so many of the objects we encounter daily are so poor in both design and construction. It's a true moment of joy to interact with something that is well designed and well made.

And those who didn't show up at all should feel bad too. I know it's a lot harder for many people than it is for me. I have empathy for that. But still, we need people to show up to vote or this happens.

Weird, never noticed I did it that way too (also from SoCal). Now when I see the one finger stands alone version it looks like that person is about to check someone's prostate.

I think noise and air pollution are a bit of a concern given you're there with a bunch of super loud, fume-spewing airplanes. But, I would love more of these, and be happy to manage the tradeoffs. I was surprised to find one at the Greenville-Spartanburg airport. gspairport.com/terminal-map...

It mostly fascinates me because my writing style also seems to change sporadically. I’m always amazed at how most people seem so consistent.

I have no clue what's going with the meaning, of course. But I'm fascinated how you managed to get, what looks to me like, three different handwriting styles into a single diagram.
