Worth mentioning these are irreplaceable VHS, mostly rare Japanese indie band music videos, movies that have never had a DVD release, and home videos of family who are long dead.

I did convert them all once before, but the software was rubbish and ff or pause caused the DVDs to crash, so I consider that a failure.

I could free up a large chunk of closet space by finally converting my VHS collection to DVDs after years of procrastination. Maybe that could be a winter project...
