Amyl and the Sniffers were on top form last night. I have mixed feelings of Ally Pally as a venue though, loads of space for eating and drinking with minimal queues, but vast and flat with a low stage means nobody gets a decent view. Short people get none.

I have loved seeing all the photos and videos from the #BackToTheBeginning event at Villa Park. I couldn't get a ticket, and they were way overpriced, but at least I got to see #BlackSabbath before when I had the chance.

What is it? It's a classic comedy starring one the greatest comedy actors of his generation, and the plan to remake it with anyone (least of all Liam Neeson) should have been rejected as an idea at the very first suggestion. But that's not important right now.

Finally got time to watch #1883 . An absolute masterclass in story telling and some of the best acting I've seen in years. Surely one of Sam Elliott's best roles. Splendid work all round. Never watched Yellowstone, and didn't need to, to enjoy this.

Nice one. I grew up with these and the peppermint, but I recently discovered there are strawberry, raspberry and orange varieties too!
