Back to standing outside on Friday evenings watching kids football training. Don’t mind today as it’s a lovely evening but it’ll only be a few weeks before it’s pissing down and cold.

Which idiot organised a meeting in London the day before Easter. Livid.

On holiday in Spain and we can never say we have fussy eaters for children. They’ve had octopus croquettes, razor clams and were sitting peeling prawns.

Heading down to London, it’s currently 15 degrees and sunny in the north. Don’t ruin it, London.

I could look at this all day!
How Leeds rank in the Championship by key metrics under Daniel Farke this campaign.

A very different beast. 🦁

Badly spent ‘in his opinion’. That’s key to all of this.
He’s so fucking cringe!
NEW: BrewDog founder James Watt has set up an unofficial, Elon Musk-style government watchdog.

He says it will look to cut 'badly spent tax money'

Day 4 and the internet was back on when I woke up. I almost ran into the kids rooms like it was Christmas morning!
February 7, 2025 at 6:39 AM
Day 3 of no internet and if it's still off when the kids get home in an hour there's likely to be a mutiny. To be honest, I'm pissed off with it now too.

Day 2 without broadband and the children are now bouncing off the walls. The suggestion to read a book went down quite poorly.
February 5, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Been without broadband all day as someone has damaged the cable into the village. Kids are about to get home and I'm preparing for a meltdown. Forecast for repair is tomorrow at 7pm, wish me luck!

Full fibre broadband install is underway. Cable run through the front garden, hole drilled in the wall, router installed and powered up. We have 4 green lights but 1 red light....

The young one is kicking off as he wanted to play Fortnite which has a 12gb update and will take 45 minutes. I've explained its a day early as the ultrafast fibre is installed in the morning and it will only take 45 seconds. Stomped off to his room to play Indiana Jones instead.

After the first warm(ish!) night for over a week the snow and ice has started to recede. Pavements are no longer death traps.

Arsenal are making hard work of this.

So the kids' school has closed the after school provision due to the weather. I've no idea how they can travel in and go home at 3.15 but not 5pm. It makes no sense at all.

Why do they do this? It's not a hard question, he broke the law and has been sentenced so yes he should be. I get that sometimes politicians try to avoid answering questions but when it is black and white then why is it so hard?
Kemi Badenoch's spokesman refuses to say whether she believes Tommy Robinson should be in prison, saying "I'm not going to talk about Tommy Robinson"

Kemi 'Oh look there's a bandwagon I can get on' Badenough.
Car crash briefing with Kemi Badenoch spokesman in which he

- Couldn't say if she'd ever raised grooming inside govt (having never mentioned it in the House)
- Admitted she hasn't spoken to any survivors
- Refused to condemn Elon Musk for attacks on Jess Phillips
and said she's still a "fan" of his

So I'm assuming I drink coffee until lunchtime then crack onto red wine for the health benefits to be maximised?
January 8, 2025 at 9:19 AM
Whenever I read news headlines where someone is offering an opinion my immediate thought is, 'What's in it for them?'. This is a perfect example.
