I've always wanted to use Nebula, but what's stopping me is that you can only pay for it in (US?) dollars. It makes it feel like it's for Americans (I assume) only, despite all the Brits, and it means I'd have hidden, fluctuating conversion costs on my end as a consumer

Seems counter-intuitive considering the amount of big businesses on the site. Can't imagine the BBC getting an employee to do community posts from their phone

It's not the population figures, it's the fact they're referring to the UK🇬🇧 but calling it England🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. It's like referring to Spain but calling it Castille, or referring to the US but calling it California

Do you think this will finally cause a crackdown on Social Media to reduce misinformation? We've known about this exploit for arguably a decade, yet governments seem unwilling to fix the root of the problem. Instead, they just complain about foreign interference, reducing confidence in democracy

Not really... Reading and listening are both different cognitive skills. When you listen to an audiobook, your brain processes the information differently to when you're reading the words on the page. Do they both count as reading, no. Are they both equally valid ways to consume literature, yes!
