Took awhile before STALKER 2 got its hooks in, mostly because I kept quitting after getting jumpscared by mutants that can turn invisible. But now I'm really enjoying myself!
Also after working in nuclear power for 5.5 years, pretty cool to see Chernobyl nuclear power plant in a video game

Motherboard, CPU and RAM upgraded. Got a 9800X3D on a ROG Strix X870E-E and 32GB of DDR5-6400.

I keep seeing how much this app is blowing up now and I figure I should post more of my #cosplay content. So here's a shot of a Jedi outfit I threw together during the Texas winter storm in 2021.
I really need to get back into cosplay, I haven't done it in years and I miss it loads.

Man, Bioware really flexed with the visuals in this game.
There's so many moments my Rook looks way better than I imagined they would even in character creation just because sometimes the lighting is just right. I love it.

Mad props to @bioware.bsky.social 's technical team on Veilguard. As much as I love Inquisition & Andromeda, they always felt duct taped to Frostbite to get those games working

I've been getting out my comfort zone lately by finally catching up on Control by Remedy Games.
buuut I can tell I'm not comfortable yet with suspense/horror elements because I still manage to accidentally jump scare myself with distant ray traced reflections of my character in office windows.

I beat Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty as well as the new base game ending last weekend and I'm *still* thinking about it days later. Absolutely phenomenal experience. CDPR absolutely crushed it.

I have so many hours in this game, but I've been on a break since August when Baldur's Gate 3 came out.
All the news coming out of Bungie's layoffs this week has made this the easiest choice not to go back, though.
Game developers need to unionize.
