On Saturday I was at the Raleigh NC No Kings rally with a couple dozen buttons that I’d made for the occasion. Within a half hour I had none left. The designs were “no kings,” “resist” (featuring THE frog), and “fdt” (reimagined npr logo). Also gave away a dozen @wearesaners.bsky.social postcards.

Musk’s script kiddies aren’t conducting any audits and never were looking for inefficiencies, waste, or fraud. They were and are installing backdoors.

What happened Friday was the wrong side got kicked out of the WH (again). I’d be proud to have Zelenskyy as my president. And BTW this was not Trump’s doing. JDV was sent in there to incite Trump’s reaction to blow up the impending “deal.”

Apropos of nothing, here's a story about what happens when the economy of an entire nation is in the hands of thieves and scammers.

In 1997, 2/3 of Albania's GDP was tied up in a single enormous ponzi scheme. 95% of adults invested *everything they had*. You won't* believe what happened next!

I can think of at least 3 companies whose boards should be extremely peeved that their CEO is neglecting his duties and playing “doggie” with the federal government. Or maybe the CEO role is bullshit and Tesla, SpaceX, and X just don’t need a CEO. In any case they shouldn’t be paying him.

@olbermann.bsky.social Everyone knows the NHL’s “original six” aren’t the first six teams of the league. It’s a nickname for the six-team postwar configuration of the NHL. Also, the NY Rangers aren’t real Rangers and the Chicago Bears are (mostly) not actual Bears.
