they hung on, but hard to take too many lessons from a game where you are down to 10 men. We know what that will take if it happens in the WC. Would love to see a full squad try to break Equador down with 50-50 possession. Most likely what we will see in WC Group stages.

Crépeau unlucky to lose his spot, but Pantemis even unluckier to win the spot in Portland but not even get a call.

Shaff was on a pretty poor performance already but that was really not smart.

they had less than 50% possession to Curaçao up 1 in the 2nd half... there has to be a different tactic for that situation no?
June 22, 2025 at 4:09 AM
it was going wrong for so long and they didn't adjust. up 1 they needed to hold the ball but they didnt do that.

that was shambles from Canada. Just wretched.

Q for the next pod: Biello leads Canada to a 6-0 win. Is Marsch in trouble.
June 18, 2025 at 4:33 AM
amazing finish. david's pass was sublime, and Sigur did so well to play with him.
June 18, 2025 at 3:41 AM
The Canadians under Marsch have often opted to play it long from the defenders rather than play out the back. When they struggle to win the ball back high, this makes for a tough day. Any thoughts on how they can avoid spending so much time off of the ball, especially if they need a goal?
June 11, 2025 at 3:29 AM
Presumably the PKs were a chance to try things out in advance of more important games.. but did we need to see LDF to know he shouldn't take one in the Gold or World Cup?

Promise David to Lille is almost too on the nose, but would joining ParisFC and their bid to stay in the top flight be an intriguing enough project, or would you want him to aim higher?

If you could force TFC's leadership to learn one leason from this debacle of a season what would it be?

I can accept that Insigne staying or leaving has a large impact on DP level decisions, but what about improving the team via smaller transactions with players that can actually run? It just seems like they still think the DP is the only issue and it clearly has not been for some time.
