From Barngarla country. Old dude. Left (red in Oz, blue in US). Socially progressive and too impatient to listen to anyone who argues that my granddaughters should live in the 1950’s. Australian republic, renewable energy are high priorities.
Henceforth, the reference point for the Peter Principle.

Anyone who reckons this is not a good decision should read up on Sir Thomas Playford (a Liberal premier) who developed SA via state owned enterprises. Although a Liberal, he recognised that government must play a role in essential industry & services (“the public good”). Must have been a socialist!

A person who betrays someone or something (e.g. their nation’s constitution).
Example: someone who illegally trespasses the peaceful place of their government and violently threatens the duly elected officials while damaging property and injuring brave law enforcement.
Hope that clears it champ.

His boss is Craig Hutchison. That explains it.

The tendency to pedophilia seems directly proportional to one’s devotion to god. In turn, directly proportional to one’s disclaimer of the disorder or one’s defence of others who practice it.

Pell and his defenders look like good examples of this relationship.

Yep, it’s awful. I’m amazed that no one in the ABC realises it.

It’s not mandatory to make a choice. They are both repulsive. Who would you rather support- Jack the Ripper or The Yorkshire Ripper?

Why do these super-rich dress so badly?

They are both met and thermal.

This is seriously dishonest Tanya. The government approved 3 coal mine extensions just one hour ago. Stop treating us like uninformed morons.
New or extension? They are the same. This mealy-mouthed dishonesty is so disappointing.

Rex, where did you hear this? If true, it’s important news.

On the other hand, rejection from a manuscript reviewer who uses “not able” instead of “unable” mightn’t be a bad thing.

I suggest you have a deep conversation over coffee with Barrie Cassidy and Kerry O’Brien. I’m sure they would be delighted to assist. Any suggestion they offer would be valuable and substancial.

So his “fine” equates to $780 per hectare ($320 per acre in the old language). That’s a joke! Try buying productive land for that price.
The criminal obviously did his sums beforehand.

As my old man said every damn time we drove past it, “that jetty was the longest jetty in the southern hemisphere”. (It’s still the longest one in SA.)

Have you ever been into a book shop? They sell books.

These people (the “executive team”) are weak, incompetent and direct beneficiaries of this ongoing filth. They should be held personally responsible to the same extent as the “hosts”. They are just as revolting by enabling this and cheering it on. That’s their job.
November 25, 2024 at 6:07 AM
Don’t forget the low grade enablers who cheer this on and benefit personally from its ‘success’:

Cairnan Davis, CEO
Jeremy Davis, Legal Chief
Lauren Joyce, Strategy
Michael Harvey, COO Regional
Pete Whitehead, Commercial
Angela Ewens, People (shameful)
Duncan Campbell, Content
Fayad Tohme, Digital

Agree- up to Koutsoukis’ consistently excellent standard. It is a poorly composed piece of disingenuous legislation that insults the electorate. For years, Australians have begged for action and this is the tripe that Albo and his party dishes up? They deserve to get belted by independents.

Natural gas is about as damaging as natural coal.
November 19, 2024 at 11:14 AM
Such a disappointing interview. Apparently, the government’s inability to address this serious problem is entirely the fault of the Greens. No mention in this discussion about negative gearing, capital gains discount or Airbnb- not a single word.
