I find it oddly distracting when a YouTube video explaining something obscure like the hidden histroy of Playstation peripherals or some shit then plays a video game track in the background or is being used as a transition that isn't even related to the topic.

YouTubers love to title videos "We need to talk about..." when the very nature of a video means it's just them talking. I guess having the video title "I want to talk about x and yall better listen to me" isn't as good for analytics but would be more accuate.

When Fallout 3 was released it's soundtrack introduced a whole generation to the sex tunes their grandparants fucked too.

Random thought: Has any other game had such a stark drop in quality from the first level onwards than Sonic Adventure 2? The City Escape stage could arguably be a contender for one of the best opening levels of any game but the rest of SA2 to me is kinda average at best.

The unwritten rule of every video game no matter how obscure and/or terrible will eventually get a hour long YouTube video on how it changed the gaming landscape is the kind of thing I can get behind.

I reminded myself that one time Sony insisted the X button is actually called Cross and since then I've insisted that the other 3 buttons are called Box, Wheel and Pizza Slice.
