Always liked KD. Good teammate all around and carries a team when he’s on. Not dirty, and super smart on and off the ball. Made the most of his opportunities and learned about business for his post-playing days. All the best to him always, I say.

If we commit to a more robust or layered version of ObamaCare that effectively competes against the lower half of insurance issued, then that lower half slowly recedes. The rest will migrate to higher premiums and wider coverage. Eventually it all comes under the govt program.

I think offering a smarter/more reasonable/cheaper public alternative is the best first step. Something like ObamaCare, with levels, perhaps. Keep it better than the alternatives long enough and people will migrate to it. The alternatives will morph into specialized channels and gradually shrink.
