Been rewatching Mad Men and also making my way through Gilmore Girls lately. (Both great, obviously!) Wasn't until Alexis Bledel shows up in season 5 of Mad Men that I realised that her and Vincent Kartheiser were married for 8 years. A fun crossing of the streams!

Kagemusha (1980): Great film. It looks stunning but oh boy, being thrust into a position of grave importance despite being spectacularly under-qualified, just because I'm a doppelganger? No thank you. Nightmare stuff. Breaking news! Kurosawa good!
