Little bit of everything and nothing at the same time lol. Drone video and general photography. Maybe some laser and print work in the mix. College instructor in the arts department
I should add I have had mine for about 8 months now.

I do enjoy them. I just find the ai very rudimentary, as compared to stand alone ones I use and esp compared to the ai built into creative cloud.

This is only coming from the opinion of an applied arts instructor. So my uses are very different from what a purely academic instructor might base their opinions on.

It feels as though they have stopped developing the ai on the glasses side to concentrate more on the new project Orion. The glssses are great for content creation though. Once the color is adjusted and sharpened. It’s a pretty low quality camera sensor. But I am judging it against high end devices.

The flavour of ai that the glasses are running is horrible. I would compare it to a 3 year old max. Siri in iOS 18 blows it out of the water on every test currently. Meta ai on their social apps is much better then the glasses. It’s very slow to respond with the glasses and it’s very simple.

I teach graphic arts at college. I use it to create content during class and outings. We use that content as footage to make short form content. The ai side of meta is still garbage so I rarely use that. Mostly use these as a pov cam. Mine are prescription.
