I think Trump already escalated it by siding with Putin, withdrawing support for Ukraine & proving he can no longer be considered one of our allies. What else do you suggest we do? I don’t feel comfortable having American forces based in our country do you?

Interesting point. I mean if they were to refuse we could always blockade the bases. Turn off water and power. Introduce a no flying zone around the bases. Send in the police to arrest and deport.
