I think with those 2 it was slightly easier. KC didn’t have a relative going to Degrassi and they could easily write Declan as going with his mom. Adam’s mom and step brother were to important and if they wrote him out another way people would be asking where Adam was?

I do wish we got to learn more about Hazel. Is it just me but is Jimmy’s storyline in Time Stands Still more about helping Spinner and his redemption arc?

Yes the characters who got black holed Kendra, Dave etc. I think they realized with Adam they couldn’t just do that. So they had give them some exit

They were kinda stuck because the actress playing Adam, wanted to leave.
