Every Dem has to deal with white supremacist apologists like Joe Manchin and Joe Lieberman in their own party undermining everything they do. Thus, to get ANYTHING done, they have to compromise. The GOP don’t have that problem. But your argument is that they should do NOTHING is duly noted.

A lot of things happened to us. Fox News was created and allowed to create an alternate reality. We looked the other way or made excuses for bigotry. A successful black president demolished the illusion of superiority that a large swath of white America held. Trump is the culmination of that.

I agree that it likely had nothing to do with the NFL. But shootings like this can sometimes have the most bizarre of motivations. It’s much too early to speculate.
