Enjoyed reading your last 2 books, so will probably be buying this one too.
If you can partition a hard drive you can install Linux. If your sharing space with windows plus other Linux distros and formatting the partition in anything other than Ext3 / Ext4 then it gets a bit harder.
Easier than installing windows generally and less effort hunting down drivers after.
