I like your take on it being tense conversations. I didn’t think about it that way when I saw it and I now think you’re dead right. I knew that in the live production everyone had headphones so they could hear the whispering, which aligns the conversation theory as well.

Yes! Utterly amazing. I had some nitpicks about production choices, but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. And often I did forget I was in a movie theater.
