yeah it really does just feel like that

The reality is TF2 is 18 years old. It's moved out of Valve's house and has been living on its own for years. It's had some real struggles but the community has been there to support it. There are bad eggs, but also plenty of good ones. And while Valve's support is missed, it's not the end of TF2.

The video talks about how playing Deadlock and seeing the game keep changing makes them nostalgic about TF2's updates. But where is that excitement when we get new gamemodes or maps with interesting mechanics? It's a double standard that sucks and devalues creative high quality community content.

Those were all the maps released since Jungle Inferno that I LOVE, and that's not counting all the ones I enjoy playing on! Sure there's some real bad maps and honestly valve needs to start removing maps in general, but the community content has been fantastic! Same applies to Taunts and Cosmetics.

Cursed Cove, Graveyard, Farmageddon, Crasher, Helltrain, Bonesaw, Sulfur, Phoenix, Rotunda, Selbyen, Krampus, Galleria, Burghausen, Embargo, Megaton, Fulgur, Aquarius, Citadel and Demolition along with all the Versus Saxton Hale and Zombie Infection maps are some of the most fun I've had in TF2!

After actually watching the video, I just don't understand the mindset these people have. What's so wrong with community content? Is there really something so special about having a "Valve Touch"? Some of the most fun I've had in modern TF2 has been because of some of the new community maps!

Yes they could've and really should've done more, but I'm sick of seeing clickbait titles where they claim valve hasn't done shit. It creates doom and gloom in the community and makes discussing the current state of TF2 more toxic than it already is.

This is making me miss Sticker Star...
Might have to do another playthrough sometime.
