Thank you! It was a bit daunting taking on a project that would take an entire year, and without a clear idea of what it would look like. So it's been rather a relief that it's turning out well.

I don't use pins, but if I'm sewing together something large or awkwardly shaped, I'll hold it together with those little plastic sewing clips.

It's based on the Snowflake Temperature Blanket by Kaye Adolphson - www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...

Each hexagon represents the daily low and high temperature, and the snowflake overlay is the daily rainfall.

These are basic instructions for a hexagon motif to use specifically for a temperature blanket although it could be used for a normal blanket as well.

Oh my gosh, that is going to be amazing! I've only done mosaic crochet in the round so far - I think I'm a bit scared of doing it in rows...
