I'm excited to see different car choices. I'd research the heck out of the things, but if everything checks out, I'd buy one no problem.

He's a diehard conservative with constituents in the auto industry, so he's protecting what he has, rather than pointing out that 1) 49,000 is only 3% of the new car market and 2) if we like their cars we could eventually make them here. But, no, he wants to trash the liberals if he can.

He is showing how simple he is. Might is right. Independence is something you only have until stronger people decide otherwise. He doesn't understand basic principals of human rights. At least he's showing his colours now, so his party can take a good look at what they're proposing as our future.
