If you post your cross stitch work on social media, how do you feel about people immediately asking where did you get the pattern from? Do you want a compliment first? Or if they're asking for the pattern, is that compliment enough?

I am confused.
Is cross stitch popular? I would like to think that it never went out of fashion.
Is it because the materials are harder to get hold of?
What do we need to do to get cross stitch seen as 'on trend'

If you haven't bought this and you are into sewing your own clothes. You really do need a big roll of tracing paper. It has been such a life saver when I want to make the free patterns that come with magazines, which are printed on both sides of one sheet.
