I feel like either the 4070 Ti could have been easily skipped as it falls between the Supers - or both supers as they fall closely on either side of the Ti to make room for more relevant cards.
Thanks for your time. Enjoy your day. Sucks Nvidia makes things so rough with 20 SKUs/gen.

I can see that the 9070 XT for example is just a 25% increase, but not what to expect for RT. I understand that there are time constraints but there are 4 different supposed 4070s in the results I wish at least one had been replaced with the cards people would actually consider replacing.

I'm sitting on a 3080. 2 generations is prime time to start looking for replacement if the performance gains are there (IMO 50% faster per dollar at a minimum). Unfortunately, the 3080 is not included in the RT results so I have no idea what I would be looking at performance increase wise.

'or just not as good at 1440p'
But yeah the whole 25% better for 25% more traditional performance at the most common resolution this card will be used for kinda hurts. (FSR 4k is not 4k)

Side note, I just realized the percentage gain of the 9070 xt over the 7800 xt it replaces and wowza it's friggin double. I mean I saw it in the review but I guess it just didn't click.
Another concern I had about the 1440p only being 25% better is 4k + FSR = 1440p. Is this it's achilles heel?

I'm going over the 9070 xt data on techspot and noticed you guys use 1440p for power testing. Since the 9070 XT appears to either be getting bottlenecked or just not as good at 1440p, I was wondering if 1440p power results matched 4k or if the card looks less efficient there.

Actually. Qwen2.5 was one of the ones that I wasn't impressed with, even at 32B (and it wasn't just because it was dogstuff slow because of my 10GB GPU - slow is still faster than "only 12 per 2 hours").
Also tried llama 3b instruct and a couple others I think.

I've been relatively impressed with Grok for powershell scripting. It's been better than the 'coding' ones I got on LMStudio. Threads get fiddly but I would imagine that's not just an AI problem. It also gets a little weird when the context window gets too large, but that could be same for all.
March 3, 2025 at 5:50 AM
Well, I got to a point where I had most of it handled with the AI (it was grok - lol) and just needed to assemble all my functions into a program and did that without the AI so that feels good. Needed the AI for a lot though. But hey, I learned that you can/how to use dlls in Powershell.

Just to be clear - it needs to be off not enabled in order to see a persons reply to someone who you do not follow.

Must combine with this one.

Do like this tho. It brings back the old school Twitter where you naturally grew a network by seeing who the people you follow interact with.

I only use desktop.

I have discovered something I do not like about this blue deck. Cannot fullscreen the video.
November 20, 2024 at 1:57 AM
hmm. The functionality is there but it still has that app look instead of desktop website. The old tweetdeck was absolutely perfect then Twitter bought it and made new Tweetdeck and Elon screwed it up even more by making it X Pro. At least he brought back 'following' - used to need deck for it!

Except that isn't the case. Both parties just want to control the other. Neither wants the freedom we all deserve. So the best we can hope for is that neither has the kind of control we're about to get wrecked by for long.

I think we should have political party limits. If your party won, it and anyone associated with it in that or the previous term cannot hold that office in the immediate subsequent term. Break the two party BS that only serves to divide and conquer us.
