Arsenal fan here, and if all fit I would put beating Real a bit higher than 16.8 but far from favourites for the quarters let alone the whole competition. Given the current problems having us as 3rd favourites seems crazy, I have us as 6th or 7th.

I have a question for people, how many players should you have for each the 4 main lines; goalkeepers, defenders, mild field, forwards? Think it could help some the discourse atm and for me process my thoughts.

Totally, I would be fascinated if someone could set up a war game scenario, allow us to at least get a glimpse into the process from start to finish. See the work, risks, and decisions each stakeholder makes in the year or these modern transfer take.

Absolutely agree, been a frustrating season but who would have predicted it, if the club knew a different direction would have been taken. There are lessons to be learnt, were our plans to much based on city? Can our player risk management be improved? That’s for the future, not for now.

I think people are mixing the issue of enough forwards with the right quality of forwards. 7 forwards in a squad feels about right to me, maybe 8 with a few being able to drop into mid. I think because we haven’t added that big signing, e.g., quality, people are mixing the two.

Down side for us is harder to give the youngsters/ fringe players minutes.

Recently I wondered if the clubs in Europe should not participate in the EFL cub but at the same time the EFL Cup should continue to have a Europa Cup space, giving the chance of a Europa Cup. Current teams in Europe less matches, other teams given more chance to be in Europe.

It’s a bit crazy really, you look at the run without context and it looks good. Adding the context of where we are this seasons it highlights how hard and unlikely the league will be.

Totally agree, there was a bland side to it. Though supporters of all clubs complain about so much other teams do that I’m not suprised. Think we all need to man up and wait for the revenge on the pitch, and as we saw at the weekend it feels so so much better than any punishment to Haaland

Absolutely, if the player doesn’t like it step next match, just like Miles and Gabi did. For one I don’t mind Hal ands antics last time around, I think that may have been the difference we needed to batter them so comprehensively.

I personally think it would be a shame, I mean if it’s ok for players to have a barney with each other or the supports on the field why can’t they respond through a celebration. Obvs there is a line where it moves beyond mockery but most of those quoted in the martial are far from that.

What concussion? Gabriel hardly moves then looks around wondering what happened. If that is a risk of concussion then headers need to be banned. This and his comments to Arteta and MLS created the narrative of one best matches of the season, let rivalries blossom, I for one I miss the early 00s.

I would agree with you, also given his past rivalry with arsenal may be a factor. But at the same time it plays nicely for us, it creates a stronger bond between the supporters and team. Personally I turn off from him when I can but at the same time I am grateful that he helps to bring us unity.

Disagree, yellow yes but a suspension? that’s the kind of thing if it happened to us we would complain about and blame the PGMOL. it’s football and I for one miss fiery rivalries of yesteryear.
