Adora’s voice felt weak. “I only kept the jacket for so long because it was something you gave me.” Catra’s gaze shot up, and she looked stricken. “I’m sorry,” she said, and she meant it so strongly that Adora immediately felt guilty. “Adora, I didn’t mean—” “It’s fine,” Adora said. She started to take the jacket off. “I mean, the prank isn’t a big deal and you just want me to look nicer.” “I want you to feel nicer,” Catra said. She moved towards Adora, but stopped when Adora stepped away. Her ears lay back and she looked so upset. Adora badly wanted to pet her, but now wasn’t the time. She lay the old jacket on the bed and looked at Catra. “I will feel nicer,” Adora said. “Don’t worry. Everything is going to be fine.” She made sure Catra looked reassured, then dove out of the window.
