Writer. 2021 YA Watty winner. An avowed cynic with an optimistic streak. Queer. Bi-Polar. Funny dude. Can't decide which is more absurd: This world, or his life?

Wow, this has to be the most bizarre reworking of a song ever. They have changed an ode to youthful life on the fringes to a song about respecting the elderly. And, somehow, it works. It's still beautiful, in its own way.

As bassist of the group that were/are a vital part of my life, and as an esteemed author, I'd be honoured if you could check out my semi-autobiographical, coming-of-age novel, The Drowners. Spoiler alert, Suede's '94 gig at SFX hall has a chapter devoted to it. Feel free to dismiss this message.

I took up running a year ago. The ideas used to flow when I walked, but never on a run. But, now, that I am used to it, the ideas are floating around my skull while my legs do their thing. I have the storyline for my next project almost all worked out. That little acorn is finally starting to grow.

Oh, man, I do this, also. It started as a way to shift my lazy, leave everything to the last minute, ass into gear. But, now, it's this crazy invented time-frame that has no bearing on reality. I swear, this is why my hair has turned grey. I didn't have a silver strand, until I started writing.

Thank you for taking time out of your life to read my words and pen this insightful and eloquent review. Apologies for the tardiness in responding, I'm functioning at around 60% these past few weeks. But, that's no excuse.
