fun movement though especially as the grapple tower guy! I think this would be a fun romp with friends and conceptually I really like the upgrade system for your weapons. One of those games I want to spend a really solid weekend on with a crew of 4.

Ain't nothing bad ever happened past this door!

relics do seem like they meaningfully switch things up enough to earn my attention as a roguelike. My only negative is the guideline - I got led astray many times expecting to bounce a certain way. I'm sure you get used to it, but in some ways I'd rather there be no prediction than a wrong one

Flickshot Rogues is, as the name implies (and frankly one could assume and usually be right these days), a roguelike with map nodes. It reminds me a lot of the board game 'Catacombs' where you digitally flick your piece in an oddly shaped arena to try to bounce through enemies. The characters and

Update: unbeatable is one of those games where I stopped playing, wrote this, and immediately had to go back for more. This definitely convinced me to A) go play white label and B) wishlist. Best cop punching game I've played this year

Unbeatable is a lot. Maybe I'm not focused enough, or maybe because I haven't played White Label but I was not keeping up with the (intentionally) fragmented storytelling. The vibes ? very good. And the unhinged batting cage mode? so fun. I would recommend if you're in the mood to be a bit lost

I LOVED the Count of Monte Clicker demo. It started as a typical clicker then moved into an asteroids roguelike? And this ending convo with Abbe Faria was peak! Wishlisted for sure.

Dimwood next - a roguelike deckbuilder. This one didn't really hit. Something about the way the symbols for the light levels were drawn made them not feel distinct in my brain. So I kept having to look at each line individually. Seemed like mostly a 'me' problem, but hey reviews are subjective!

#1 is Ball X Pit from @kennysun.com. A roguelike mix between breakout and vampire survivors (autofire is optional, but i liked it). There's a meta part where you build a town and you use breakout mechanics to send your villagers to gather resources after runs! Demo was easy, but very satisfying!
