This is sickening. The Hollywood fat cats can’t keep getting away with this! You can’t kill the gremlins franchise, then kill the one man trying to keep it alive!

it would make autopilot less embarrassingly outdated without necessarily cannibalizing FSD sales since it still only works on the interstate.

just my opinion. I miss it.

I'm still of the opinion that the v11/early-v12 highway stack should replace autopilot for free on all cars that can run it. It was way more intelligent and smooth than autopilot and doesn't have the speed consistency issues and increased requirements of the end-to-end highway stack of FSD.

crab is well rested. I myself could use a bit of rest though!

yeah like having a functional website lmao. in my defense crabber was never supposed to be a public thing, people just showed up.

keep the memory alive :)

lol it attracted a subset of people who were tired of twitter before the general public got tired of twitter. but there were a lot of cool people on there as well. hopefully you had at least some fun on crabber. cheers.

everything good about crabber wouldn't fly on a large-scale website. that was kind of the lesson I wanted to teach people. like, go to small websites, make cool stuff, it's fun.

I've been on bluesky since beta and I think it's pretty much the best you can do at this scale, so I'm glad it exists.

thank you :) glad you had fun there
January 26, 2025 at 3:46 PM
maybe it's better to remember it the way it was then to have seen what it would have turned into. every good thing must end, right? thanks for using crabber :)
January 26, 2025 at 3:45 PM
the general public didn't yet know they needed it. it was a fun experiment for those who were there. good times.
