I'll never forget the interview I read many years ago where Suzanne Collins said what motivated her to write The Hunger Games: the Iraq war was going on and she was shocked how younger people simply did not care.

YouTube's algorithm has been so straightforward lately. I watch ONE video about Wicked, go back to the main page and there are 10+ suggested videos about Ariana or Cynthia Erivo.
That was just one of many examples. It annoyed me at first, but now my hyperfixations are very well-fed. 🤭

I worked for a publisher before (when there was still no AI bullshit) and my job was to review novels' translations. There were plenty of things to correct, humans make mistakes.
They released it as it was and didn't even read my notes explaining what I changed. Deadline was the priority. 🫤

I used to love Tarantino because Kill Bill was the very first movie I could watch with no censorship from my neurotic religious mother who didn't allow me to watch ANYTHING.
