I’ve just started using Anybox on iOS and Mac. So far, it’s working pretty well. But I enjoyed Pocket, and I’m going to miss the fact that I could read my Pocket articles on my Kobo eReader.

Sticking around here mostly, but probably some shorter travel throughout. Catching up on a big stack of reading (design and design ed, AI). Maybe learning some Swift just to do some coding. And some more cooking and learning the board games on our “to play” shelf.

In the past, we tried to organize by main mechanism or by designer (e.g., the Feld and Rosenberg sections), but it got tricky. For this current re-org, we just decided to shelve everything in alphabetical order by title. That saved some cognitive energy we can apply to gaming.

It’s like when my course comments include ”lectures too much, want more activity” & “too many activities, want more lecture”, all in the same course! Interesting article, especially for my classes when many undergrads equate a class solely with lectures, & any deviation from that causes anxiety.
