Even proud of him for seeking out a backstory-related role play opportunity whilst separated from the group. Just wish a few others at the table would take notes and try to follow suit for themselves. I really think it would boost their experience. Now to mise on how to achieve that…

On the other hand, I had another player who HAD until two sessions ago been thinking of switching characters, choose of his own accord to have his “new” character leave on a totally unknown adventure this session… because he now feels rejuvenated in playing his original one!

Just had a delightful D&D session. Had all but one player seeming fully engaged; that last player has been struggling for a long time connecting with his character.

While I don’t feel like I’ve turned him around yet, he at least seemed to have a good time in his brief shopping role play trip 😜

Oh, why not. I’ll post a couple more D&D minis I’ve painted before bed.

That said, if you wanna know, two of the worst movies ever made? “Killer Clowns from Outer Space” and “Team America: World Police”.

No, I will not be taking any questions or criticisms there.

I love movies and tv shows. I have a talent for being able to make almost any movie made since about 1970 or so just from a few frames or seconds of a clip.
And I can almost certainly talk at length about any movies, definitely my favorites, of which there are many.
Very few qualify as “bad” to me.

I enjoy painting my many (so many…oh god, too many! They’re taking over!) D&D minis, primarily thanks to Reaper Miniatures; I’m not terribly good, but painting them is fun, especially when I do so in a group of friends.

Still learning all kinds of techniques as I go.

All of my game sessions in D&D are set in my home brew world of Ilirac, a wide, diverse land that is notable for having many islands, one main major continent, and a mostly flooded Underdark, resulting in many aquatic-leaning subterranean races, including an extra-divided drow culture.

Dungeons & Dragons!
I was introduced to D&D by some friends in my freshman year of college and never looked back. Quickly became a DM for my siblings and ended up doing it at college for my gaming club on campus. Learned on 3.5 edition and still kinda live there in my heart, though adapted to 5th.

Video games:
While I play a lot of games of all sorts, and occasionally on multiple systems, I am primarily an Xbox gamer.

My staples are Elder Scrolls Online, Minecraft, some FPS fun in CoD titles, and loads of looter shooters like Borderlands. I enjoy indie games as well as AAA titles; I vary.
