I am a retired living historian addicted to weaving. I live in the country in southwest Minnesota with my husband.
My husband's cousin must have been in a gang. He had been a sailor and had "love" on his knuckles on one hand and "hate" on the other. He said it was to remind hom which hand to use in a fight.
