Then let the parents who repeatedly vote for policies that allow this to happen, to deal with the consequences of their actions. We’ve spent *decades* trying to make people in red states see reason. At this point, it’s clear we’re only going to be bailing them out of their hateful policies forever.

Why? They’re getting exactly what they’ve voted for, and what they’ll vote for again. Blue states need to stop carrying red states.
