The phenomenon of rabid popularization of terms for the out-group is quite common in other groups, most notably self help groups. It tends to correspond with the point when the group starts to behave in a more exclusive manner.

It's just Backblaze. It's simple and it scales easily. I had a couple of large 4K video files (1 TB each) that I was able to recover with it.

Yes. As long as you don't constantly hit the per-instance memory limits, it's a fantastic runtime host environment.

I've tried to mention this to people back where I grew up, and it receives incredulous responses.

It gives me culture shock every time, and I love it. Suddenly the library is now a lively, living thing. The assumptions I grew up with keep getting proven wrong on each visit. I now make a point to stop by at least once a week.

Now I live in Silicon Valley where the nearest library is 10 times the size of my old one. Any week night I go into it and see 100 to 150 people reading, using the computers, browsing shelves, and checking out books. These patrons cover all walks of life.
