When the current gen consoles released, the older engine that the base game used couldn't be ported, so they had to decide whether to support two separate branches or just drop support for the original base game. They chose the latter. Ultimate is a different game, and the only one supported.

Base game is abandonware. It will never be updated, and is actually missing updates before this one. The Ultimate Edition is the only supported version. It's constantly on sale, so you should just bite the bullet and pick it up.

Honestly, I think it was a little bit of the party owes me and the country owes me, and I'm okay with that. Biden honestly did a pretty great job with the shit sandwich he was handed, not GOAT but good, and he got nothing but shit on.

1 is the only right answer.

No, it's not some evil conspiracy. Kilo is *always* 1000. It's an SI unit. 1024 bytes has *always* been a kibibyte. Kilobyte (and the other SI units) just started being used interchangeably for both.

No? KB is still a kilobyte. KiB is a kibibyte, or 1024 bytes.

It's not a rounding error. 1 KB is always 1000 bytes, because it's an SI unit. 1 KiB is 1024 bytes.

It's always been kibibytes. The SI units are always factors of 1000.
