In this trial EASA (the European aviation safety agency) does not seem to be charged in the proceedings. In the late 2000, the blocked pitot probes caused several serious incidents and many less severe ones did not lead to the same directive (immediate replacement) 2/2

EASA has grounded 6000 A320 pending a software update to fix a potential serious flight safety risk. The lessons from the AF447 tragedy, whose appeal trial is currently underway, seems to have been learned. 1/2

While the most gov calls for savings, ecology, sovereignty, tens of thousands of PCs will be scrapped with Win10 EOL
I’ve used Zorin OS (EU, open-source) daily for 13 months: stable, no tinkering. Add GoFAST+Onlyoffice to replace Sharepoint/Teams/Office, the pro ecosystem is complete. Time for action!

Denmark chooses the Franco-Italian SAMP/T system over the American Patriot for €7.8B. A strong pro-European signal, after Spain dropped the F-35, that could mark a strategic turning point for Europe.

Despite Trump’s complete drift, the subservience of the tech giants is confirmed. This is becoming one of the greatest operational risks for organizations that use technologies from US companies.
Personal disappointment to see that even Bill Gates did not decline the invitation, that says it all…

I don't understand all this "buzz" about the jamming of Vor Der Leyen plane. There is an ILS instrument landing procedure in Plovdiv. ILS cannot be jammed (at least the same way) and is the safest way to make an instrument landing when jamming is feared.

Following the moral collapse of the US administration, they are going to sell weapons to the Europeans for Ukraine with a 10% markup, according to Treasury Secretary Bessent.

As the European will never have the guts to put boots on the ground in Ukraine, they should at least give an ultimatum to Putin that if there are still civilians targeted they will close the sky over Ukraine with a coalition of European airforces. UN charter allows it.

One of the darkest days for the United States.
A historic wake-up call for democracies around the world, and of course for Europe, but also for neighboring Canada.
It will be difficult to set foot in the United States again until this country has been de-Trumpified."

The moral collapse of the US is accelerating this week with Trump set to meet Putin, and moreover on American soil(!), while Putin is condemned by the ICC for war crimes. Meanwhile, Tim Cook stoops to an appalling level in the Oval to please Trump by giving him a gift with a heavy 24-carat gold base

Trump has announced 30% tariffs on all EU products from August 1 and threatens to raise them further if the EU retaliates. Europe should respond with equivalent tariffs on US digital services and use the revenue to fund EU innovation. Public money shouldn’t support a hostile US economy.

A major city (Lyon) abandoning Microsoft Office for OnlyOffice is a very good thing, and it echoes the growing adoption among our clients. Since 2017, we have included OnlyOffice in GoFAST, thus paving the way.

If confirmed it looks like a Russian Perl Harbor executed by the Ukrainian forces (drones) deep inside Russian territory on 4 airfields. A lot of Russian bombers including strategic ones burning on the ground. Putin should have accepted the cease fire deal, instead bombing civilians in cities
