🌱wind storm here for the past 4 hours, starting right after I snapped this photo of my beautiful silver maple tree which was started from seedling where it grew. I’ll bet with the morning light, I will not see as many leaves on this tree.

🌱 Daylight savings time is ended so I have to walk early in the evening. The views are still beautiful ❤️ and color abounds. Late fall in the northeast

🌱I need ideas for next Spring for what to do with this concrete platform/top of an old cistern. (Currently collecting sticks and rocks, lol.) Grecian sculpture? Fairy Garden? Throne? A fountain? Already dreaming about next Spring. TIA.

🌱such pretty grasses (morning light maiden grass) and zinnias still abloom in my neck of the woods! I read online that the Chicago Botanic Garden calls the zinnia the hardest working flower in the summer garden🌱❤️
Lively looking red and hot pink zinnia cluster growing atop a cement block structure. One lowly little yellow zinnia dots the back right section, standing out in the crowd! Large wad of pale green and yellow “Miscanthus sinensis” grass, with dark burgundy top plumage. I think this variety is called “morning light maiden grass.”

🌱Working on a new garden plot with a friend. We removed the grass today. Tomorrow we amend and work the soil then plant! #freshstart #myfavoritethings

🌱Beautiful weather and beautiful sights in my neighborhood, a small middle class suburb. We live to enrich (and thrill) each other with flowers shrubs and gorgeous trees. So blessed to live here.
