Huge part of it being bad for my mental health!

I just like the idea of supporting something that, maybe, if we're lucky, will someday allow me to enjoy the benefits of Twitter without being actively bad for my mental health.

Other than dunking on Gambo. That used to be fun.

It wasn't directed to you specifically, because I've seen the sentiment before. But yes, it was probably what inspired the post. I'm interested in neither dunking on you or getting attention. Definitely not something I've ever craved on any social media (or life).

I mean, we could go on an endless loop here, but I'd rather not. People care about different things for different reasons and it's fine.

That would be a very weird thing to get offended by, for sure. I'm definitely not. I just enjoy Bluesky for what it is right now and am hoping it will become a viable option for Twitter at some point even if it takes time. Because what's happening there really sucks and I'd rather not support it.

Finally.

I'm all for it. Putting good depth around Booker and Durant is going to be difficult anyway. Might as well get a third star to take pressure off of the two and hope you can get enough cheap veterans to put together a decent 7-man rotation for the playoffs.

Game 6 turned out to be anything but enjoyable to watch, but I stand by the sentiment.

This is what I posted (skeeted?) here before game 6:

Ayton not playing is, most likely, not *good* for the Suns' chances tonight. However, at this point I'm so pessimistic about their chances and so tired of watching him that I'll probably enjoy the game more than I would have with him playing.

Nothing wrong with getting bored on the farm.

Then again, maybe not...

Ishbia has better hands than Ayton.

Gritty, hardworking player who makes the most of his talent on the court. If he didn't know Shamet, Monty would want his daughters to marry Mat Ishbia.

To be clear, I don't really believe it's just about money. The relationship was never the same after last year's game 7 and then the messy offseason. I doubt he'd turn into a different player elsewhere, but at least he'd be more inclined to give more consistent effort (for a while, at least).
May 7, 2023 at 10:20 PM
In retrospect, that may have been even more of a red flag than we thought at the time.
May 7, 2023 at 10:10 PM
I mean, how can we even try to predict what motivates Ayton?
