If you didn't get a chance to enjoy the 50s yesterday, you're in luck, as today is another warm day. Highs will be close to current records for much of the valley. Monday will still be in the 40s, but the focus will shift to rain turning to snow by Tuesday morning. #ndwx #mnwx
November 23, 2025 at 1:29 PM
We are still keeping an eye on a system that looks to move through Monday-Wednesday. There are still plenty of question marks, especially with accumulations. However what is becoming more and more consistent is the chill, which will look to stick around into December. #ndwx #mnwx

If you've put off putting up holiday lights, this weekend will be one of the last mild chances. We will see sunshine today and tomorrow, so take advantage of those mild temps. By Monday night, Mother Nature flips the switch, and temps go tumbling through Thanksgiving. #ndwx #mnwx
November 22, 2025 at 12:28 PM
Today continues the mild stretch we have had for a bit, so get out and enjoy the sunshine, with highs near 40° for most. You'll want to soak up that sun while you can, because for the week ahead, I'm keeping an eye on cloudy days and a few rounds of showers/sprinkles. #ndwx #mnwx
November 16, 2025 at 12:39 PM
To start the week, we're keeping an eye on a chance of rain. For now? The bulk of the system looks to stay further south, but southern parts of our area may get clipped. Depending on the exact timing, a few spots may even have a few flurries mixing in Monday night. #ndwx #mnwx
November 15, 2025 at 12:45 PM
We're talking about a cool-down today, but here's the great part: it's still going to be pretty mild for mid-November, and with sunshine, this weekend will be nice to get outside and enjoy a nice November weekend. #ndwx #mnwx
November 15, 2025 at 12:45 PM
By the afternoon, highs will be around freezing, but wind chills will still be in the upper teens, so bundle up if heading out today. Tomorrow will still be chilly, but not as gusty, before we start to see a midweek warm-up on the way. #ndwx #mnwx
November 9, 2025 at 12:29 PM
It's a frigid start to this Sunday morning, and the wind isn't going to be helping out today. Lows have dropped to the low teens for much of the region, with wind chills so far on either side of 0°. Today will be blustery and cloudy, with an isolated flurry possible. #ndwx #mnwx
November 9, 2025 at 12:29 PM
It is also shaping up to be chilly through the weekend. Lows so far have dropped to the teens and low 20s, and for the first time since March, temperatures will struggle to get back above freezing today. However, we are still looking at a warm-up by midweek. #ndwx #mnwx
November 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM
We're seeing snow sticking across much of central ND this morning, with the steadiest snow so far being around Minot. As we go through the day, these bands will drift to the southeast, and by the afternoon most of the flakes will be moving out of the region. #ndwx #mnwx
November 8, 2025 at 12:00 PM
However, even with that wind, this will be the stretch you want to get out and enjoy these milder temperatures. Highs will stay mild into the start of the week, but by midweek, I'm tracking a cool down with a few round of rain, so bask in the sunshine while it's here. #ndwx #mnwx
November 2, 2025 at 12:23 PM
We are battling a brisk breeze as we head towards sunrise today. Winds are still out of the south early today, but with temperatures in the 30s, it's feeling a bit chilly to start off your Sunday. Through the day we will warm up plenty, with a mix of sun & clouds. #mnwx #ndwx
November 2, 2025 at 12:23 PM
As we start November though, we do so with a dry and seasonably mild stretch for most. A few sprinkles may slide through tomorrow, but for much of the region, the next chance of rain will move in by the middle of the week, before a cool-down going to next weekend. #ndwx #mnwx
November 1, 2025 at 11:10 AM
October wrapped up yesterday on a seasonable note, but for much of the month, it was warm and wet. I'll have much more on First News, but here's a peek: the northern valley dealt with the heaviest showers, leading to the 12th wettest October on record for Grand Forks. #mnwx #ndwx
November 1, 2025 at 11:10 AM
You'll want to get out and enjoy today, because as we head to the start of the week, we also have another round of rain on the way. Showers will be developing overnight across central North Dakota, and slide east through the day tomorrow. #ndwx #mnwx
October 26, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Already a gusty start to your Sunday throughout the Valley, as winds are staying out of the south, and we have seen those winds get up to near 40 mph already. So hold on to your hat if you head out this afternoon, but temperatures will be nice, with highs in the 60s. #ndwx #mnwx
October 26, 2025 at 11:45 AM
Get out and enjoy the corn mazes too, as it's the last weekend for some of those around the valley. Today will be a touch sunnier and less breezy, but either day this weekend will be a good pick to enjoy some mild fall weather before rain returns early in the week. #ndwx #mnwx
October 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM
Still pondering when you'll get the chance to go out to pick your perfect pumpkin?🎃Today's going to be a pretty picture perfect day to do so, as the leaves will rustle around a bit on that south breeze, but highs top out near 60° for most of the region this afternoon. #ndwx #mnwx
October 25, 2025 at 11:30 AM
A slight chill to start off your Sunday. Lows dipped to the 30s for much of the valley, but we have a calm and sunny day ahead. Get out and enjoy this seasonable afternoon, because then we are tracking in rain, cooler temps, and winds picking up to start the week. #ndwx #mnwx
October 19, 2025 at 11:30 AM
It's a breezy day ahead across the valley, so expect leaves and corn stalks to rustle around a bit this afternoon. Morning sprinkles have struggled, so we just have cloudy skies early on, & this weekend will be a good one to get outside and enjoy some fall activities. #ndwx #mnwx
October 18, 2025 at 12:48 PM
It's a bit faded now, but we had a rainbow this morning in Grand Forks! And that's the extent that the northern batch of showers brought today, but just across the SD border, we have a couple of showers that have a little thunder and a better chance for rain early on. #ndwx #mnwx
October 11, 2025 at 1:07 PM
Before the rain, the wind today & dry conditions will be something to monitor for fire wx across NW MN. For the time being, it looks like we have enough moisture moving in to keep red flag warnings at bay, but if the moisture comes up short, fires may spread quickly. #ndwx #mnwx
October 11, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Be ready for that breeze today! South winds pick up this afternoon and we look to remain mostly dry until after sunset. However overnight, we will keep an eye on rain moving through, and then a cool down after a windy Sunday with more showers. #ndwx #mnwx
October 11, 2025 at 11:24 AM
Along with the rain, it will also be a blustery day with a cool-down to some seasonable temperatures. Winds will stay out of the west-northwest for much of the day, with some gusts to 45 mph, and temperatures will be dropping to the 50s by the afternoon. #ndwx #mnwx
October 5, 2025 at 12:14 PM
A low pressure system sliding through the region brings in change today. To the northwest of the low, we will see steady rain for much of the morning as it pushes out towards the Canadian border, while showers will be spotty for the southern valley and lakes country. #ndwx #mnwx
