Ack. Is the humidity bad too? Hope you get a break in heat soon.
We were at 94 today with feels like 103 with humdity. Gross. Flipping lovely right now though. Feels down right chilly when the breeze blows. This summer has been mild comparitively for us here in KS. I’m waiting for Aug to be nasty

Some bad pics of my roses. Managed to save the rose bush, so i’m pleased about the outcome. Only the second or so rose plant ive gotten to rebloom that i purchased myself. I had big rose bushes (like taller than me) at our old house from previous owner that loved me though. #bloomscrolling

Thanks, that’s good to know it can do well in a container. This is the current pot that it came with. I’d like to get it a much bigger one soon. I’m more skilled at succulents & cacti, so hoping i can keep this balloon plant happy :)

This was last week. Has more blooms again now :) got my mom three of these plants to add to her garden this year. I’m deciding if i want to keep mine in the pot or plant it.

Finished Lucy Foley’s The Paris Apartment today. Sick as a dog. Ed the octopuss aka squishy is keeping me company, kiddo left him with me while he plays baseball.
My mom has tried to call me 4x today (hurts to talk) about a hair appointment in fing July. Narcissists are wearing me out.

Not entirely sure why but I’ve been getting lots of compliments on this Lane Bryant shirt irl. I have a feeling it makes me look even tanner than i am. It’s 94 F with feels like of 104 and 25 to 40 mph winds. Humid AF. Hope people are enjoying the start to summer

It feels legit kind of cool out now. I think my internal thermometer is broken today 🤪 wind helps though. If there isn’t wind then I would have melted today.

I have no clue where that OFMD post went that was asking for charity donation receipts but anyhow…I donated to HRC (Human Rights Campaign) last week. I recommend donating to ACLU, Southern Poverty Law Center, Trevor Project, HRC etc if you are able.

Have to remind myself of this. Sticking to it this time and requiring more of an extended family member that has repeatedly crossed lines, not apologized and tried to gaslight my fam. If I don’t see them until winter I will not be sad.

Stayed home bc my anxiety still isn’t there yet but helped with the signs. Found another lady that had hand holds on hers on FB, so copied that portion of the idea.

Meet Ed aka squishy the 🐙 before you ask no I did not make this. A friend did. I cannot crochet for the life of me. I am incredibly impressed by people who can. I can cross stitch, mend, quilt etc but crochet w/ my dyslexia is a no go sadly. I insisted he must be purple ☺️ #OFMD

The dogs also have a long standing feud with our neighbors inflatable lawn decorations shaped like penguins 🐧 if unchecked they would sit at the window for hours during winter & barked at them as the 🐧 sway in the wind
