I watched a couple episodes and the premise already wore out it's welcome

But Mob Psycho 100 is one of my favorite anime of all time lol

I think about them adding voice acting to SMT Nocturne HD and it just... changes the atmosphere of the game entirely for me lol

like... I get enjoying a thing despite disliking how it plays into certain tropes you dislike
but I feel Dragon Maid is like... beyond the pale of that kinda argument

"oh I like this thing... except this part that takes up like... 50% of the show/manga"

the tragedy of Himeno is that if she had lived longer that there may have been a chance for her to move on from her various insecurities and be a better person but unfortunately she fell deeper before tragicly dying too soon

but what I appreciate about Himeno is that she's not presented as evil, or ugly, or irredeemable in the way that characters written for this trope
there's nuance and she's also really fucking hot lmao
