Lighting is the most overlooked thing for cozy desk setups. Focus on a mix: direct lighting (BenQ ScreenBar), ambient light (e.g. desktop lamps), and indirect light (e.g. under desk LED strips).

If by a window, don't mix cool daylight with warm artificial light — adjust lights and temps as needed.

The dev team is converting a portion of the web app to Storybook. It sounds like a fair amount is being refactored/rewritten. As we tokenize on the design side, I'm hoping to make much-needed UI tweaks and enhancements.

Currently looking for case studies or success stories on the subject.

question for the room:

does everything need to be a design token? can a one-off exist without being tied to a code?

example: my lead designer puts forth a GREAT design. the developer codes it, but the build looks like junk. it's because letter spacing, which isn't tokenized. how should we proceed?

Hard not to see this app looks just like Twitter aka X. But honeslty I love the vitriol stays at X and we can be a design community without the B-shit that exists over there. #refreshing #design
