Lawyer. But I let my license lapse. So now people legally cannot ask me for advice.
Our national love affair with cars is pretty much the most dangerous thing about this country.

Does anything think Trump could come close to understanding the difference?
December 10, 2025 at 11:19 PM
Wait. You think Shapiro isn’t the democratic avatar of establishment big money politics? Huh?
December 10, 2025 at 8:46 PM
Correct. I have no interest in coming together with these people until they express a serious public reckoning with the insanity and fascism they’ve allowed to overtake their party. Saying “I don’t agree with Trumps rhetoric” is meaningless. And Shapiros presence tells me about his instincts
December 10, 2025 at 6:46 PM
He doesn’t understand the moment. We aren’t looking for people that will saddle up to republicans that basically govern like Trump but without sounding like a moron. There’s no coming together with these people. They must exposed for what they are and resoundingly defeated
December 10, 2025 at 3:30 PM
You can put on a nice face. Pretend to be polite. But if you’re gonna vote for republican policies 99% of the time I just don’t care. The republican platform inherently cultivates this type of rabid nationalism, hatred, and bigotry. You can’t pretend disentangle them by acting nice

It’s very very bad that the people running our economic policy fundamentally do not understand what AI is. They do not get it. These are people who can’t open PDFs. Yes, AI can give you answers to questions. There’s just no reason to gamble our economy on those answers being correct

And that’s just it? How about “What evidence do you have?”
December 9, 2025 at 8:00 PM
The fact that no American journalist even attempts to pin him down on ANYTHING. He’s basically spent the last 10 years filibustering anytime he is interviewed by someone. And they just let him. I don’t understand.

Their conception of government is one in which there can be no real way to instill any form of continuity between administrations (well except for SCOTUS itself). When they release this ruling, I am genuinely curious how they are going to argue for carving out the Fed.

Why use Eastern Europe and not Scandinavia or basically everyone in Western Europe that has chosen to put significant more guardrails around the markets ability to dictate life. I’m not a soviet. I just maybe think whether my wife gets maternity leave with our child shouldnt be a “market decision”

Very purple Midwest state. Let’s get to the point.
December 5, 2025 at 4:56 PM
Can you get to the point?
December 5, 2025 at 4:55 PM
The USA? It’s a mixed economy. Some aspects more closely resemble pure capitalism. Some more closely resemble democratic socialism.
December 5, 2025 at 4:51 PM
I think we’re just not being clear on terms. For us there’s no way capitalism can work for the people because definitionally it’s a system in which economic decisions are made for profit maximization. That’s what it is. Government, in a real sense, be geared to maximize whatever we choose.
December 5, 2025 at 4:49 PM
I think you just don’t understand capitalism the way someone on the left would. No one “controls capitalism”. Capitalism is basically just a profit maximizing algorithm. It’s not designed or controlled. What I want are leaders who will take certain aspects of life outside of that profit function
December 5, 2025 at 4:45 PM
What does “capitalism for the people mean”? Capitalism, by its rules, does not care about people outside of their ability to generate profit. Whether that’s through the exploitation of their labor, or their ability to consume. Any benefits we receive from capitalism are sort of like a happy accident

Why does this very uninteresting person that no one cares or knows about deserve a glammed up piece?
November 14, 2025 at 5:41 PM
The American people have been programmed into believing that lawyers and the work of law really is just finding loopholes. That’s what the average American thinks being a good lawyer is. Finding loopholes that allow you to do things we all know you’re not supposed to be able to do
