did this day of the dead sugar skull a while ago! she was done in two sessions so these pictures show a partially-healed, partially-fresh tattoo. i was stoked to get to do something with a lot of personal and cultural significance for my client.

a few months ago i got to work on continuing this sleeve. every piece is inspired by one of her kids, starting with this marigold! next up will be a computer chip tucked in next to the marigold. the lego pieces below were not done by me.

this was the first tattoo i ever did on a client! done earlier this year as part of my apprenticeship, this was my third ever tattoo on skin. she wanted a design inspired by "not fragile like a flower, fragile like a bomb."
