and at one moment, i never felt more like i wanted to die in my life, and in the next moment, i never felt more like i needed to try in my life.
all it serves is to further cook the brains of these cruel people, pushes the left further away and forces the middle to actually engage with ideology.
one of my friends said "liberals are as black pilled as i've seen them". i think this is very true and i'm not sure what that means for the future.

it's the same as the trans rights stories and a lot of the stuff about immigration. it's an effort to appeal to the loudest and cruellest members of society at the expense of everyone else precisely because they are loud and cruel and also probably more likely to click on google ads.

and i think moments like this are what cause culture to snap. people who know who he is can see that the reporting on his work is completely disingenuous. people who don't know who he is are probably sad for his family but otherwise do not care.

so you have these surreal articles where either his actions are listed and the reader sees this misalignment between the questions being asked and what the guy did and gets confused.
or they're not listed and the writer bloviates on stuff that's not actually happening.

so like. editors across the country are trying to handwring about how maybe deadnaming isn't violence or whatever but the case they're using to frame it isn't really anything to do with that. and if you reference anything that's actually happening, it makes that dissonance very obvious.
