As we pack up this place to move, I see my music life laid out before me.
Old vinyl singles morphed into albums morphed into cassettes, morphed into CDs, now my kids stream it all. Mixed emotions. So much money to collect it, but I have it. My kids spend less, but don’t have it.

Of all the instruments I’ve messed with over the years, the pedal steel guitar is by far the most difficult to grasp. 90% of the song library is playable on 3 strings. But the brain starts frying quickly when you move outside that box. Much respect for the masters of this

Made a great friend with a French engineer in 1980. As he arrived, a mural in the airport read, “I feel therefore I am”. Descartes‘ “I think therefore I am”, in his view was the definition for progress of humanity. Logic, and scientific knowledge, not or feelings should direct us.
