Back in the day you'd arrange a parking suspension (that still happens in some more genteel parts of Oxford), and your removal van could have kerbside access. But elderly pedestrians, wheelchair users, & pushchairs don't matter much, anyway, they can just go around surely?

Yellow lines and dropped kerbs into a parklet are overrated anyway. Often the whole dropped kerb is used as overflow parking, but why not when the consequences are nada.
