I’m from Canada & live on the largest west coast island. I have a wonderful miniature schnauzer, Storm, who keeps me busy. I love flatbed machine knitting, hand knitting, reading, camping & genealogy. I collect vintage Christmas🎄, mostly 1950-60s 😀

Last weekend was our local fall fair. I entered a few things in the #machineknitting category and am proud of the results. 🧶 #knitting

I've been knitting for charity - hats, slippers, sweaters and going to make some soft toys. Don't have wee ones to knit for so this knitting makes me happy.
A child's machine knit sweater using a new technique. The sweater is striped with aqua, purple, pink and gray. The stripes are different colours on each side of the centre and are changed on the diagonal. This will be donated to our local food bank charity drive at Christmas.

It’s #TerrierTuesday and Storm is #TravellinginStyle on road trips. He’s the first dog we’ve had who’s paid attention to what’s outside when we travel 😀

Home from our adventure. Not much sun found on our trip but lots of fun anyway. We had a great visit with 2 of my sisters and visited areas we hadn’t been before. This is the last leg of the trip-we dock 40 minutes from home 😀 #SchnauzerGang

Mt Robson was hiding it’s peak today. Storm had a nice sniff around and agreed it was a nice place for lunch.

Storm is ready for adventure and lots of time in the car. He is the first of the 6 schnauzers we’ve had who likes to watch out the front window when we are travelling #SchnauzerGang

4 years ago today my heart was broken. My Fidget (Mimicker's Forever in Motion) passed away suddenly from liver cancer. He was playing with the other dogs in the morning and then he was gone. He was my heart dog - loved him then and now and forever ♥️ #SchnauzerGang

We used a cart for Storm’s uncle. Bo had his favourite sniffing spots so he would walk for a while and then ride when he was tired.

And one more post of our lovely Anya for #terriertuesday and #whataball. She was in the last month of kidney failure in this video and we had taken her camping. The ball rolled toward her on the bed and then she started doing this. ♥️

Another finished project on my standard gauge (SK360) knitting machine. I learned a knifty technique called "Fairisle Intarsia" that let me knit 2 colours across the row. The instructions were in a magazine called Knitwords, published in Autumn 1998. 🧶#knitting #machineknitting

I got to meet Storm’s half siblings (a girl and boy) today. They have the same dad. The little girl is the one with the whiter paws. They are 2 weeks old.
