finally got through more than 1 quest in ffxiv and am actually enjoying it :3c i did my very first mmo dugeon with my friends!!! these kind of games have always intimidated me so it's been a learning curve, but so much fun with people who love the game and are my great friends 🫶im an au ra :D

had such a peaceful bday yesterday 🥰 went out shopping with my fiancee, got the most exciting & unexpected game haul from my local retro game shop, bought some books, found a cute outfit, & my cake was so cute!!! the world is wacky & im so lucky to have these little moments of joy! so thankful <3

i freaking miss being in vr and making silly faces, feeling like im actually hanging out with my friends, and exploring cool worlds 😭 i can't wait to be able to get in again in a few months!! i've been looking at old photos and feeling so lucky i have so many fun memories, tho 🥰

i started playing Beyond the Labyrinth (ラビリンスの彼方) on my 3ds and it's been sOO FUN! the story is interesting & the gameplay & battle system are pretty unique since i don't play a lot of dungeon crawlers. it's also been incredibly exciting to notice a difference in my Japanese reading speed lately! :D

day 5! game that deserves a remake... mayhaps i am in the minority bc i love old school jrpgs from the 90s, but i'd LOVE for thousand arms to get a remake. was my very first time hearing ANY japanese as a kid and i've been so in love with this game and japanese as a language ever since! :)

i finally got my emulation stuffs working on my steamdeck last night (YAAAY) and started playing fushigi yuugi suzaku ibun!! i've wanted to play through this in its entirety since i was like, 13 maybe? something about being able to take it anywhere now makes it more fun :3 im so happy!!!

i finally got my emulation stuffs working on my steamdeck last night (YAAAY) and started playing fushigi yuugi suzaku ibun!! i've wanted to play through this in its entirety since i was like, 13 maybe? something about being able to take it anywhere now makes it more fun :3 im so happy!!!
day 4 !! i got a lil lost in the sauce this weekend and so it's been a few days, but we're back at it!! 🫶 right now im playing a few different games, but mostly muse dash, look outside, and trying to restart a playthrough of xenosaga 3 via emulation on the steamdeck after i get it all situated :3💞

day 3!! hardest boss fight... hmm... first one that comes to mind honestly is the Necron fight in ffix. It can be SO frustrating!! you have to be really strategic about the magic you use since this guy comes @ you in every way possible. also, the theme song is SO SICK! :D

my first video game i remember playing! pretty sure it was a plug & play tv game of pacman - my mom used to love pacman and digdug and i remember playing this as a kid in the living room :3 but i would say officially the first game i EVER played myself as a kid was re1! i couldn't even read yet 😂
